The Power of Words

You are a Witch...or a Mage.

Priestess or Priest.

Creatrix or Creator.

A large part of Spellcraft is speaking.

We add weight to our words with emotion and intention.

This is powerful.

It means you can influence someone's attention, focus, and the trajectory of their entire lives by planting seeds of doubt, fear, or, more positively, seeds of love and peace.

Those seeds influence their choices, and lives are made of individual choices.

This is why the war for our attention is such a huge deal.

There is baneful magic at work through propaganda, whether political or corporate.

There is divine magic through acts of kindness, creation, and love.

Knowing you have that power, how would your actions, your emotional regulation, and your words towards others change?

Would they change?

This is also why light work and shadow work are imperative.

Shadow work is not just a trend. Dismantling narratives is not one either. These are tools for self-development, for contributing to the evolution of humanity through our individual evolution.

A thought isn't as innocuous as you think.

A single thought influences your moods, emotions, and how you behave.

It seems small until you see its ripple effects.

Your entire life's choices can be traced back to a set of programs and patterns, and life reflects how it's going for you.

Are you repeating behaviors?

Finding yourself attracted to the same toxic relationships over and over?

Blaming others for your mishaps?

Mental Reprogramming

You see, your mind has access to an operating system you can reprogram.

How do you reprogram your mental operating system?

Through presence and consciousness.

One thought and one emotion at a time.

"It sounds tedious."

It can be, but once you wrap your mind around the idea that there is no greater work to be done.

That we are needed, first and foremost, to show up for ourselves.

I've learned the hard way that no one else will do this work for you.

Train your mind to be present in each moment of now, where your magic can be accessed.

I began with meditation and with counting backwards from one-hundred to zero.

When I could count backwards without distractions or losing track (because if you forget what number you were on when you became distracted, you must begin again at one-hundred), I trained my mind to do it three times in a row.

Three times in a row? But why?

That's powerful attention and focus you can now apply to your own agenda for growth.

Whether you want to become a psychic medium, get your next promotion at work, or become a world leader, your mind needs to be on your side like a well-trained animal companion.

I got this exercise from Psychic Witch by Mat Auryn, and it has served me well.

It is the basis I return to when my mind is out of balance.

You see, we are conditioned to prize the mind over everything else.

Over the heart, the innate intelligence found in our cells, over our guts.

The mind is a screen, a theatre, and when it is out of balance, it will take over and play what it remembers based on the past. The problem with that is that we think we know how something will work out based on our past experiences.

Why is this a problem?

It limits the miraculous magic and potential of the present moment.

Infinite Potential

Quantum physics points the way to an understanding of what infinite potential truly means. It counters physical laws at times, reminding us that much more is possible than we think.

What do the words infinite possibility speak to you?

So this is a start for understanding the importance of your individual power.

How do you want to wield that power toward the earth of today and the earth we want to see for tomorrow?

For me, that means I use my power to contribute to ushering in a golden era, not the propaganda of the puppet in office. A true golden era where all remember their divine abundance, and we have manifested it for the greater good. So all are provided for, not just the few who played banker in Monopoly and cheated the systems we are subject to.

Perspective Change

The idea that there is enough to go around instead of the propaganda of comparison and scarcity, fearing, and coveting what your neighbor has.

Which world do you want ot be part of?

One that acknowledges our abundance by divine right?

Or living in the world we have, where unsustainable systems are crumbling, there is no hope for a future legacy for our children, and everyone is sick and poor?

We are tasked with the restoration of our beautiful planet.

Restoring Mother Gaia back to her former magnificence.

Planting a glorious garden wherever we plant our feet.

I will leave the metaphor there.

This was about claiming our power as a witch or mage, or whatever you identify as.

Labels Limit Us

In fact, I ask that you put your labels of me aside and let your mind expand about your self-labels as well.

Why is it important which neat box we fit in?

Am I a witch, a priestess, a creatrix?

Or am I a prince, king, or emperor?

How about ALL OF THEM?

Why just one??

We are in a state of expansion.

First, we claim our power.

Let us let go of limiting labels and beliefs.

We are much more than we believe we are.

We are Kernels of Infinite Potential.

So, how about KOIP as a label?

I know it's stupid, but you have to admit it is more of an expansive label than any other box we toss each other and ourselves into.

Witch, Starseed, Mastery in Training, a culmination of all of my past incarnations, from a woman of color scrubbing the hull of a bygone steamship liner, singing as she works, to ascended mastery. I've remembered more than most, and I'm sure you have or will, too.

So let's stop playing small and labeling each other for Goodness sake.

Who cares what side of the aisle in a crumbling political system I am on, or how much my bank account has in it, or where I shop?

This is small potatoes compared to the infinity found in presence.

So train your mind to come back to the present moment, as your life and all of humanity's depend on it.

Our time in the third dimension is very limited.

Do you want to draw this out, or shape our future?

Because the more we indulge in crying and victimhood, the more this place goes to shit.

You can turn this sinking ship around.

We will do it together.

Let's start very small.

Challenge Accepted

Today I challenge you, dear reader:

Put down your phone and create something.

Anything.

Connect with that part of yourself that speaks with reverb from the Force.

Scribble, doodle, paint, carve a bar of soap with a small kitchen knife, scratch out a few words, make something impermanent (as it all really is) in nature, a sand castle, a song, play a riff on your guitar, smack those drums, move your feet to a song, and create a new dance move.

Just do it and don't look back.

If you feel dumb, good.

Listen to that part, witness it gently.

Say, "I understand, but we are doing The Great Work here."

If you feel brave, comment on how it went.

In Conclusion

The great work awaits us.

We have choices to make, words to hold ourselves accountable for, and creation awaits our command.

As magical practitioners, we must take responsibility and accountability for how we influence ourselves and each other.

You may say, but I am just a muggle!

HOGWASH!

You just don't know how magical you are yet.

So you have a choice to make, which world do you want ot live in?

Will you be a consumer until you pass this mortal coil, or will you claim your power and create?

We are here to usher in and restore our HOME (Heaven On Mother Earth)

Begin with treating your words as sacred, powerful bringers that can either elicit

life or death,

love or fear,

peace or hate.

Your choice.

This is the power you have, magician.

Affirmations are not just woo-woo;

With correct intention, they will change realities.
